-Faerie Glass

Even though I haven't really done any paintings of fairies, it seems like it was only a matter of time before it would happen. An upcoming book published by Llewellyn, titled: "Through the Faerie Glass" comes out in February.

Here was my first sketch.(This younger chipper version no longer exists, because I ended up erasing her face.

They wanted a more older-wiser and seductive fairy, so I aged her a tad.

Beautiful. I love her expression. Very pretty and very alluring. In the sketch, I can see more of a grin on her face. I like both of them.
You know, this is one of those times in my life - specifics aside - where certain things contribute to my survival instinct and, not that I expect it really matters, your art is something that inspires me and also gives me something to escape to. You're a fantastic artist.
I very much admire you.

Brilliant, I think. Great bone structure is what comes to my mind first. I like looking back and forth from the sketch to the painting. Dazzling work, you have a wonderful facet.

Hi there,
I was the acquiring editor for this book and I just wanted to tell you I LOVE the way she turned out! Gorgeous, and I love the colors. Can't wait to hold the book in my hands! Congrats on a job well done.
